Welcome to the Bardekova Ensemble
The purpose of our organization is to perform music written or arranged for a woodwind quintet. We plan to increase the number of concerts available to Bronx sites. New works have been arranged and performed during the past years by our group; as well as other artists. Currently the ensemble contains flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and French Horn. The group has performed as a trio, quartet, and quintet. The performers are all professional musicians. The group also rehearses 2 times or more before each concert. The quality of each performance is outstanding. The group rehearses in order to achieve the highest technical and musical level for each performance. The group has performed as a trio. The trio consisted of 2 oboes and a bassoon or Oboe, Clarinet, and Bassoon. The group has performed as a quartet consisting of a flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon or a flute, oboe, viola, and bass. The final Combination has been 2 oboes, English Horn and 2 bassoons as well as a Standard Woodwind Quintet which consists as a Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, and French Horn.
